Kelly Scott

Owner/Founder, Kelly Scott Studios

Kelly Scott is a professional performer, voice teacher, vocal coach, and music director currently residing in the State College, PA area. She is a graduate of the Steinhardt School at New York University holding a Masters of Music in Classical Vocal Performance, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Musical Theatre from Wilkes University. Kelly is also an active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) where she serves on the Eastern Region Board, Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), the National Association for Music Educators (NAfME) and the Pan American Vocology Association (PAVA).

Jonathan Flowers

Jonathan Flowers teaches piano, voice, and theory/composition through his studio, Mindful Music, near Philadelphia. He uses mindfulness practices to help his students cultivate focus, heartfulness, and mind-body awareness through music. Jonathan has lectured on mindfulness, pedagogy, and technology for PMTA, DSMTA, MTNA, and numerous PMTA chapters. He is the President of MLMTA, which won MTNA’s 2023 award for Chapter of the Year. Jonathan served five years as state chair of the Dorothy Sutton Performance Festival and received the 2022 PMTA Distinguished Service Award. He currently serves as Vice President for PMTA.

Seulki Yoo

Seulki is thrilled to share that she will be performing at the Carnegie Weill Hall (2025) and will release her recording album “Paul Dukas Entire Piano Collection” through the Sheva Collection Label in the UK later this year.

Seulki approaches pedagogy with passion and respect. She is a Conference Chair at Pennsylvania Music Teachers Association, and received the Teacher Recognition at Clara Schumann International Competition, and her pedagogy was nominated for the Harold F. Martin GA Outstanding Teaching Award at Penn State University. Her students at Penn State have evaluated her teaching as “the most positive and optimistic class I’ve had in a long time” and “a great instructor who is attentive to the needs of her students”. Seulki’s students have also achieved noteworthy success, winning prizes at Manhattan International Competition, London International Competition, and Mozart International Competition.

Seulki served as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Piano and currently serves as a Lecturer at Penn State University. Seulki holds a D.M.A. and M.A. from Penn State University, an A.D. from Peabody Conservatory, and M.M./A.D. and B.M. from Korea National University of Arts. She is a member of the academic honor society Pi Kappa Lambda.

Dr. Timothy V. Blair

Timothy Blair, Steinway Artist, is Board President of the Kennett Symphony of Chester County, Pennsylvania. He also serves on the Board of the Grammy award winning Philadelphia based Crossing Choir, chosen by Musical America as the 2023 ensemble of the year. Dr. Blair is an educational partner & professor for Steinway Asia Pacific, headquartered in Shanghai, and recently served as the American judge for Steinway Asia Pacific’s Southeast Asia International Youth Piano Competition. Steinway, New York, has inducted him into the Steinway Teacher Hall of Fame & he also serves as a senior partner & distinguished professor with Alexander & Buono International of New York.

Dr. Blair, Dean & Professor Emeritus, previously served for 30 years in higher education, including 20 years as dean at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. First, as dean of the School of Music, then as founding dean of the College of Visual & Performing Arts and subsequently as founding dean of the College of Arts & Humanities.

Pianist Timothy Blair performs internationally & serves as a visiting clinician & adjudicator. He is a member of numerous professional organizations & boards in addition to being an NASM accreditation evaluator. Dr. Blair is National Chair of the MTNA Development Committee & has served on the Board of Visitors of the New England Conservatory of Music. He also provided WCU with leadership that resulted in national accreditation for all programs in the College of Visual & Performing Arts.

Timothy Blair has been a Steinway Artist since 2001.
