The Capital Area Chapter (CAC) of the Pennsylvania Music Teachers Association (PMTA) is a non-profit group of piano, voice, and instrumental instructors teaching independently and in area colleges. CAC of PMTA was founded in 1979 and is affiliated with the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), founded in 1876 by Theodore Presser in Delaware, Ohio.
